The Club

About Us

Started by enthusiasts in the Cascade foothills who got tired of driving to Bellevue for a decent meet. So we built one here.

Why this club exists

The south Sound has some of the best driving roads in Washington and a surprising number of BMWs parked in garages along them — but no consistent place for those owners to find each other. Maple Valley BMW Club fixes that. We're not a chapter of anything and we don't answer to anyone. Just a recurring meet, a group of people who like these cars, and an email list.

What we are

A driving club first

The cars are meant to be driven. Our calendar is built around seat time — group drives, track carpools, and meets you can actually drive to in the morning. Show queens are welcome, but nobody here will judge your rock chips.

What we're not

Not a flex contest

No tiered membership, no officer titles, no drama. We've all been to clubs that turned into status games. This one has exactly one rule of culture: the newest member with the roughest car gets the warmest welcome.

What to expect at your first meet

  1. Park anywhere in the row. There's no hierarchy to the parking. Pull in next to whatever looks interesting.
  2. Someone will say hi within five minutes. That's not a policy, it just happens. Mention you're new and you'll get the tour.
  3. Ask about anyone's car. Every car in the lot has a story and an owner who wants to tell it. Hoods go up on request.
  4. Leave with the email list link. That's how drives, wrench days, and schedule changes go out. No spam, roughly two emails a month.

The fine print

Maple Valley BMW Club is an independent, unincorporated enthusiast group. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by BMW AG, BMW of North America, or the BMW Car Club of America. "BMW" and the BMW roundel are trademarks of BMW AG — we just love the cars. Group drives are conducted on public roads at legal speeds; every driver is responsible for their own vehicle, insurance, and conduct.
